After exploring the Mursi village, head to the Bodi tribe's village, where you'll witness their fascinating cultural practices. After breakfast, take a scenic canoe ride across the Omo River to reach the Dassanech (also known as Geleb) tribe. This neighboring tribe of the Turkana people is famous for their vibrant Dimi ceremony, where men dance with large sticks and women hold wooden batons. During this celebration, men bless their daughters' fertility and future marriages, while 10 to 30 cattle are slaughtered. The festivities continue with feasting, dancing, and wearing fur capes. In the late afternoon, visit the Hamar tribe, one of the most well-known tribes in Southern Ethiopia. They inhabit the eastern part of the Omo River and have villages in Turmi and Dimeka. The Hamar are renowned for their colorful hair and body adornments, which include intricate beads and bracelets. They also practice body modification by cutting themselves and packing the wounds with ash and charcoal. Married women wear circular necklaces, while men paint themselves with white chalk to prepare for ceremonies. Men's hair ornaments signify a previous kill or animal conquest. Tonight, you'll have the unique opportunity to attend an Evangadi night dancing and bull jumping ceremony, a rite of passage to manhood for the Hamar and Bena tribes. OvernightParadise Lodge

They also wear face masks and adorn their hair with clay buns and feathers. After exploring the Karo village, continue driving to Kangate to visit the Nyangatom (also known as Bumi or Bume) tribe, infamous for their fierce warrior culture. The Bumi men are skilled hunters who use harpoons and canoes to catch crocodiles. Both men and women in the tribe practice scarification, with women doing it to enhance their beauty and men to signify a successful kill. The Nyangatom people are also known for their colorful necklaces and may wear lower lip plugs. This unique tribe offers a fascinating glimpse into their way of life. Overnight in Paradise Lodge
