Itinerary
After arriving at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, we will make our way to Jaffa. Our first stops will include the Russian Mission Compound and the Monastery of Saint Michael the Archistratigus. Next, we will head to Lydda, where we will visit the Church and Tomb of Saint George, before continuing on to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will head to the Garden of Gethsemane, explore the Convent of St. Mary Magdalene, and visit the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. Our journey will then take us to the Mount of Olives, where we'll see the Convent of the Ascension, the Chapel of the Ascension, the Monastery of St. Elias, the Monastery of the Cross, and the Monastery of St. Simeon. Next, we will travel to Ein Kerem, where we'll visit the Russian Gorney Convent, the birthplace of John the Baptist, and the Springs of St. John the Baptist.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Our day will start in Bethlehem with a visit to the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto of the Birth of the Savior. We will attend the morning Liturgy, with the option to receive the Eucharist. Following this, we will visit the Monastery of Mar Saba, the Monastery of St. Theodosius, and the Shepherds’ Field. We will then head to Hebron, where we will explore the Cave of Machpelah and the Tombs of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, and Jacob and Leah. At the Russian Mission Compound, we will see the Mambre Oak. Finally, we will proceed to Beit Jala to visit the Church and the Grotto of St. Nikolay. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Our tour will start on Mount Zion, where we'll explore the Assyrian Monastery of Saint Mark. Next, we will proceed to Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and Golgotha. Afterward, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. From midnight to 3:00 AM, we will participate in the Evening Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
On this day, you will participate in a heartfelt mass prayer held in one of the Orthodox Church in Jerusalem, where the service will be officiated by an Ethiopian priest. In the late afternoon, you will have free time to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Jerusalem, allowing you to explore its lively streets, browse local shops, and perhaps discover unique souvenirs or traditional crafts that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Check out from the hotel. After breakfast, we will depart for Jericho, where we will visit the Mount of Temptation, the Russian Mission Compound, the Tree of Zechariah, the Monastery of St. Gerasimos, and the Holy Waters of the Jordan River. We will then continue our journey to Galilee and check in at a hotel in Tiberias. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
In the early morning, we will grab a packed breakfast and make our way to Magdala for the morning Liturgy. Following that, we will visit St. Mary Magdalene Springs. Next, we will head to Mount Tabor, where we can enjoy a boat ride, after which we'll have a lunch featuring St. Peter's Fish. After lunch, we will proceed to Capernaum.Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will check out and head to Cana of Galilee. Following our visit there, we'll continue on to Nazareth to see the Church of the Annunciation. Finally, we will make our way to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
